Product Information: This laminate material is made by laminating phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper sheets with melamine resin-impregnated decorative sheets. The decorative sheets contain Pearlescence inks. This product does NOT meet the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for abrasion/scratch resistance, so it should only be used for vertical surfaces and/or non-working horizontal surfaces that are not exposed to much wear and tear. This material is very easy to maintain, just wipe with damp cloth and mild soap. This product can contribute to earning the following LEED credits: Recycled content, Regional Materials, Rapidly Renewable Materials (kraft paper from (SFI) certified forest with 10-yr. cycle harvest), Low-Emitting Materials: Adhesives & Sealants (if recommended ones are used), Low-Emitting Materials: Systems Furniture and Seating. This high pressure laminate is also Greenguard Indoor Air Quality certified and Greenguard certified for Children and Schools.
