At the end of the products life, it can be completely recycled. This solid surface/plastic laminate material should be used indoors for applications such as: counter tops, restroom and shower partitions, and work surfaces, to name a few. It is a very durable product, the manufacturer offers a 15 year warranty. The Origins line is also easy to maintain, just wipe with warm water and Ajax. Depending on the the thickness chosen, it costs $6.40 per pound, so if you chose the 1/2" it would cost $18.35 per square foot.

The only maintenance it really requires is that it needs to be drained every 3 to 4 months, and wipe the inside with a wet rag, and over time the water can cause the copper to get a hazy or cloudy film over the surface, so a water softener like Protec should be added to the water reservoir. The manufacturer doesn't offer any other specifications, but does offer the really high price tag of $45,000-$50,000!

Omnova was the first manufacturer to achieve GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification, as well as this product. Another great thing about this product is that it can be recycled through the manufacturers Reclamation Program, which is rarely done by wallcovering manufacturers.
