Product Information: This wood is from ash trees, coming from Europe and Asia (using this for my China project). The color of the wood is from a thermo treated brown wash and a 100% all natural hard-wax oil finish. The finish is zero VOC, has no biocides, and is benzene free. This floor is FSC certified wood and is CARB certified, since it is made with a formaldehyde-free adhesive. This wood floor also meets E1 and 2012 CARB standards for indoor air quality. So of course it could contribute to the following LEED credits: Materials & Resources - for Certified Wood, and Rapidly Renewable Resources; and Environmental Quality - Low Emitting Materials.
