Product Information: This product can be used for many horizontal and vertical applications, from table tops, wall panels, to elevator cabs. It is made of real wood, so it looks rich, unlike other laminate products that look like plastic wood. It is very durable and has a longer life than many real wood surfaces. This material is very environmentally friendly and contributes to quite a few LEED Credits for: Recycled Content; Regional Materials (must be within 500 miles of the manufacturing facility in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to qualify); Rapidly Renewable Materials; Low-Emitting Materials for: Adhesives & Sealants, Composite Wood and Agrifiber products; Low-Emitting Materials: Systems Furniture & Seating. It is also GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified. One component (kraft paper) of the product is made from 22% pre-consumer recycled material. Kraft paper and the wood come from forests that have been certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, and the trees are harvested and re-planted in a 10-year cycle. You can't ask for a better product!
